Want to Dip a Toe in the Online Banking Water? Try PayPal First
Online banking is easy, but some people are intimidated by the thought. An easy way to get started is to sign up for a PayPal account. You can open an account with 25 dollars and start learning how the online payment and fund receipt process works without a lot of risk. PayPal lets you transfer money to companies or individuals, and receive funds in return. (For example, if you buy or sell an item on eBay, chances are the transaction will go through PayPal.)
Then, when you get comfortable, think about signing up for mobile banking with your bank or other financial institution. It’s easy and can save a lot of time, too.
